Tata Consulting Engineers USA LLC (TCE) is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design project support procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.
Lead fossil fuel fired thermal power utility projects like captive & cogen power plants.
Perform and review mechanical system studies and engineering calculations.
Ensure compliance with local mechanical codes utility requirements and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with OEMs vendors EPC contractors and project stakeholders.
Support factory inspections vendor evaluations installation reviews and site activities.
Provide engineering support during construction commissioning and project execution phases.
Participate in technical reviews constructability assessments and equipment evaluations.

Extensive experience on power generation utility (captive & cogen power plants) and Green H2 projects.
Experience in Thermal Power Green H2 Renewable Energy and BESS.
Proficient in BOQ preparation and material estimation.
Strong knowledge of U.S. engineering standards codes and regulatory requirements.
Hands-on experience with mechanical design piping HVAC and utility systems.
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD Smart 3D Aveva E3D Revit MEP AutoPIPE CAESAR II HAP (Carrier) PIPE-FLO SolidWorks NAVISWORKS Smart Sketch and/ or similar tools.
Strong multidisciplinary coordination with Civil Structural Architectural Electrical Instrumentation & Controls and Project Engineering teams.
Excellent technical review stakeholder management and client communication skills.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Experience mentoring and coaching junior and mid-level engineers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Confident and positive attitude; eager to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas.
Ability to build and harbour good working relationships with our business partners suppliers contractors and clients;
Ability to work independently for core tasks and reach out for specialized expertise when needed.
Ability to lead collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams including multi-disciplinary teams with members based in various global regions.

Bachelors Degree (B.E./B.S.) or Masters Degree (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Bachelors (BE/ BS)/ Masters degree(MS) in Electrical Engineering.
