Engineer- Schedule Flexibility is a MUST

The Hotel Engineer is responsible for maintaining the hotels physical facilities equipment guest rooms and public areas to ensure a safe comfortable and well-maintained environment for guests and associates. This position performs preventative and corrective maintenance responds promptly to guest and operational maintenance requests completes work orders through the hotels maintenance system and assists with inspections repairs and routine property walks. The Hotel Engineer works closely with the Chief Engineer and hotel leadership to maintain brand standards life-safety requirements and overall property appearance while providing professional and courteous service to guests and associates.

• Previous hotel engineering or maintenance experience required
• Strong preference for candidates with hotel-specific maintenance experience
• Experience working in historic buildings is a plus
• Luxury hotel engineering experience is a significant advantage (plus plus)
• Knowledge of basic systems including:
