Job Summary

Our mine services group is seeking a full-time Engineer for our Northwood OH primary responsibilities of the position consist of but are not limited to:Perform 2D and 3D designs in Autodesk AutoCAD and InventorCollaborate with others (managers designers field techs customer drafters administration)Develop designs including specification and calculations to document compliance with project and code requirementsPerforms a variety of engineering calculations for foundations reinforce concrete structure and components structural steel frames and other similar concrete and steel structural components and systemsGenerates fully compliant civil/structural drawing for layouts building sections/plans/details foundation details steelwork details and architectural feature designAssist in the preparation and approval of design documents and plant modifications including supervision of engineers and designers in document developmentProvides technical expertise and guidance to develop manage and implement engineering analysis activities and programs to identify and resolve equipment and system other duties as assigned by a supervisor/managerQualificationsMechanical or Civil EngineerApplicants must be capable of managing multiple projects at once with tight deadlinesShould be comfortable visiting clients facilities and performing physical work such as walking stooping kneeling and climbing stairs/laddersProficient in Structural Design (Conveyors structural towers and foundation work are a plus)Drafting of infrastructure based of field measurements or provided drawings while meeting time and budget constraints
