Engineer Apprentice Facilities Full Time (Flamingo LV)

The Engineer Apprentice supports the hotels Engineering Department by assisting with the monitoring maintenance repair and installation of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems throughout the property. This role is designed for individuals developing their technical skills while contributing to the safe efficient and reliable operation of all hotel facilities and equipment.

• Monitor maintain repair and carry out the maintenance programs on the hotels support equipment including but not limited to boilers cooling towers pumps compressors domestic water systems water testing HVAC deli equipment and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain repair and install appliances throughout the facility to ensure safe and proper operation.
• Maintain repair and install electrical equipment throughout the facility to ensure safe and proper operation.
• Maintain inventory of supplies needed to perform job function
• Report all deficiencies and items that cannot be readily repaired to Supervisor
• Due to the cyclic nature of the business the individual may be required to do other duties and special projects as assigned by Leadership.

• Ability to read analyze and interpret documents such as technical journals policy and procedure manuals maintenance instructions and other related documents.
• Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations.
• Assists and/or shadows engineering staff in repairs.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must read write speak and understand English.
• Prefer prior exposure to some plumbing electrical plant pool kitchen and air conditioning maintenance.
