Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a relatedfield is preferred. A combination of education training and experience may beconsidered in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in software engineeringplatform engineering or infrastructure-focused roles is required.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized platforms;experience with Red Hat OpenShift is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience administering or supporting MongoDB orPostgreSQL platforms deployed on Kubernetes-based environments.
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Jenkins Codefresh and Git-based workflows.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code and automation tooling (e.g. HelmAnsible Terraform).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tooling such as Prometheus andGrafana is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot distributedsystems issues with guidance.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability tocollaborate within a team environment.
• Motivation to continuously learn new technologies and expand technical skills

AIAssisted & Agentic Engineering

This role requires comfort working alongside AIpowered tools whilemaintaining strong engineering judgment validation and accountability foroutcomes. Engineers will contribute to the adoption and continuous improvement ofAIenabled workflows by providing feedback identifying opportunities for
automation and safely incorporating AI assistance into repeatable operationalpatterns. This includes leveraging approved AI tools and agents to assist with platformoperations troubleshooting automation documentation and workflowefficiency under established governance and best practices.

Engineers on the INFOPS Application Development team are expected to actively use and support AIassisted and agentic engineering workflows as part of their daytoday work.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of the salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $90000 to $135000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including shift location experience skill set performance licensure and certification and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation such as bonuses or commissions that are not included in thebasepay.

Job Summary
As an Engineer within the Internal WWT IT organization you will be responsible for analyzing supporting and maintaining IT platforms and services owned by the INFOPS Application Development team. This role includes contributing to the day-to-day operation of critical platforms performing maintenance activities assisting with platform upgrades and supporting internal application teams. You will work closely with senior
engineers and partner teams while developing deeper expertise in modern platform engineering technologies.
This role provides hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based platforms and
shared data services that support WWTs internal application ecosystem with
continued growth through on-the-job experience training and mentorship.

• Assist with the maintenance operation and support of GitHub Enterpriseincluding repository management access controls branch policies and
  organization-level configurations used by WWT internal application teams.
• Support the development configuration and lifecycle management of CI/CDpipelines using GitHub Actions and Codefresh across development test andproduction environments.
• Provide hands-on operational support for Artifactory including repositorymanagement artifact promotion cleanup policies access management andintegration with build and deployment pipelines.
• Contribute to the build and maintenance of GitOps workflows using ArgoCDincluding application definitions sync policies and environment-specificconfiguration management.
• Support shared developer platform services that application teams integratewith including GitHub Artifactory ArgoCD and Codefresh ensuring reliabilityand availability.
• Assist with system integration efforts to ensure new pipeline configurationsand toolchain changes are compatible with existing environments and application team workflows.
• Participate in incident response and troubleshooting for CI/CD and developertooling issues following established operational procedures.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to pipelineconfigurations GitOps patterns Artifactory setup and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with senior engineers application teams and partner engineeringgroups to understand requirements and implement developer toolchain
• Participate in on-call rotations and scheduled maintenance windows withguidance from senior team members.
• Follow agile practices including daily stand-ups planning sessions and retrospectives.
