This role is eligible for a $5000 sign-on bonus subject to the terms and conditions of the Companys sign-on bonus program.

Our Northeast Division is a well-respected and award-winning group where career development training and mentoring co-exist with diverse civil environmental water resources infrastructure and traffic/transportation projects in a fast-paced and rewarding work environment.

We are hiring Early-Career Civil/Environmental Engineers to support our New England Water/Wastewater practice. These positions can be based out of the following offices: Quincy MA; Woburn MA; or Glastonbury CT.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Under the direction of a Project Manager Senior Project Engineer or Project Engineer the Engineer will perform the following items for projects which would include water distribution pumping and treatment systems and/or wastewater collection pumping and treatment:
  • Design calculations;
  • Bid documents including specifications and drawings;
  • State federal and local permit applications
• Perform fieldwork such as surveying GPS data collection infrastructure inspections and assessment water sampling and construction observation;
• Contribute to reports describing the objectives methods results and conclusions from field efforts.
• Use technical software to support wastewater or drinking water projects;
• Use AutoCAD to support planning and design
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff.
• May provide on-the-job training and mentoring for interns

What were looking for:

• Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field
• EIT certification preferred. If working toward EIT should obtain within the first year of employment
• Experience with AutoCAD is required
• GIS experience is a plus
• Relevant co-op or internship experience is a strong plus
• Excellent technical writing skills
• Proficient in MS Office software
• Valid drivers license with clean driving history
