Engagement Manager, WWPS ProServe DoD Delivery Team

AWS Professional Services is looking for an Engagement Manager who can lead complex cloud projects from planning through execution. Youll own project outcomes end-to-end align technical solutions with customer goals build high-performing teams and drive strategic relationships across AWS partners and Department of Defense customers.

Key job responsibilities
- Own and lead large complex engagements end-to-end delivering business outcomes independently with limited guidance
- Redirect distressed programs to successful outcomes; deal effectively with ambiguity and the unexpected
- Apply multiple delivery frameworks (Agile Scaled Agile Waterfall ITIL) to build comprehensive plans across multi-workstream engagements
- Translate customer needs into clear technical requirements and executable roadmaps using AWS frameworks (Well-Architected Cloud Adoption Framework)
- Validate technical solutions against mission objectives; lead architectural reviews and manage technical risk
- Maximize engagement value by negotiating conditions of acceptance amending scope financials and timelines as needed
- Communicate effectively across diverse audiences (product legal finance operations partners customers) and drive stakeholder alignment
- Influence AWS service team roadmaps ProServe offerings and organizational metrics
- Accelerate progress by creating or optimizing cross-team processes; establish operational excellence standards and reusable mechanisms

It is expected to work from the AWS Office Location listed (or customer sites) at least 1 days in a week. This is not a remote position. You are expected to be in the office or with customers as needed.

- 5 years of leading the delivery of IT projects with external customers or equivalent experience
- 5 years of program or engagement management work leading other project managers to deliver a program with multiple and concurrent projects experience
- 1 years of working as a Scrum Master or Product Owner across multiple cross-functional teams experience
- 3 years of cloud computing experience
- Current active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI or above

- project management certification (e.g. APM CSM PMI-ACP PRINCE2)
- AWS certification
- Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS PaaS SaaS)
- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives IT and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
