EMT, Paramedic, or LPN (Clinic)

Medcor is looking to hire a full-time EMT Paramedic or LPN to join our team as an Onsite Health Technician at our employer-based occupational health clinic in Hampton GA.

This is a great opportunity for an EMT or Paramedic looking to use their clinical skills outside of traditional EMS or an LPN interested in occupational health and a clinic-based environment. Youll provide hands-on care respond to workplace injuries and illnesses and serve as a trusted healthcare resource for employees at the site.

What Youll Do

As an Onsite Health Technician youll work independently onsite while having the support of Medcors clinical and operational teams. Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide first aid triage assessment and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses

• Respond to onsite medical emergencies and provide appropriate stabilization and care

• Follow Medcors evidence-based clinical protocols and treatment guidelines

• Support workers compensation and return-to-work processes

• Perform pre-employment and post-offer screenings as applicable

• Document patient care accurately using our electronic medical record (EMR)

• Support employee health wellness and injury-prevention initiatives

• Maintain clinic supplies equipment and compliance standards

• Collaborate with Safety Human Resources outside medical providers and Medcor leadership

• Deliver an excellent patient and client experience

What Were Looking For

You must:

• Hold a current EMT Paramedic or LPN license/certification applicable to the position

• Have current CPR/BLS certification

• Be comfortable working independently in an onsite clinic environment

• Have strong clinical assessment and communication skills

• Be comfortable using computers EMR systems and other technology

• Be able to lift and carry a 50 lb. emergency response bag

• Be dependable personable and committed to providing excellent patient care

Its a plus if you have:

• Occupational health or worksite clinic experience

• Emergency medicine EMS urgent care or critical care experience

• Experience with workers compensation or injury case management
