- Serve as the regional technical expert and primary point of contact for all Equipment Maintenance & Repair (EMR) activities.
- Manage relationships with repair vendors depot operators rail facilities terminals unions and key stakeholders to ensure service quality and compliance.
- Conduct equipment facility and vendor audits validating repair quality and adherence to Maersk maintenance standards.
- Lead Out of Service (OOS) reduction initiatives and drive compliance with Gate Inspection Program processes and damage assessment criteria.
- Support the implementation training and operational rollout of Remote Container Management (RCM) technologies across the region.
- Oversee procurement-related activities vendor contracts warranty programs and operational improvement initiatives.
- Manage regional maintenance and repair costs maintain P&L accountability and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- 7 years of experience in Equipment Maintenance & Repair marine terminal operations intermodal facilities container yards transportation operations or a related environment.
- Bachelors degree preferred or an equivalent combination of industry experience and professional training.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret operational data identify trends and drive performance improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective partnerships internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently manage competing priorities and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to manage regional responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to obtain a TWIC card and other required terminal rail or depot credentials.
