Emergency Short Call Substitute Teachers

Position Summary:
Short Call Substitute Teachersreplace full-time classroom teachers for a determined period of role consists of implementing existing lesson plans overseeing classroom activities assigning homework following the full-time teachers instructions and grading tests.

Qualifications:
- Hold an associates degree in any field.
- Educational support (Paraprofessionals or Classroom EAs) who hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have worked for at least one year for the hiring Minnesota publicschool district.
- Apply for an Emergency Short Call Substitute Teaching license. (Application fee will be covered by Owatonna Public Schools)

Substitute Teacher Training Session:
Owatonna Public Schools District Office given during orientation/ 333 E School Street

Rate of Pay:
$206/dayfor full-day assignments // $29.43/hour for non-full-day assignments
