Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Driver


SHIFTS NEEDED:

We are looking for candidates who have open availability including weekends and holidays.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be at least 21 years old (licensed for a minimum of 5 years)
  • Must possess a valid Washington State Drivers License
  • Current EMT certification required
  • Must NOT have more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years
  • Must pass a DOT drug screening and mandatory criminal background check
  • Must be willing to work weekends and flexible shifts
  • Must be physically capable of lifting moving and securing patients safely
  • Ability to safely operate stretchers wheelchairs and medical transport equipment
  • Must have strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Must have a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities residences and hospitals using company emergency vehicles
  • Provide basic emergency and patient support within EMT scope of practice
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with dispatch healthcare staff patients and family members
  • Utilize a smartphone and company systems for job-related functions
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness
  • Properly secure patients using stretchers wheelchairs and other medical transport devices
  • Maintain accurate trip logs reports and required documentation
  • Respond professionally and compassionately during emergency and non-emergency situations
  • Follow all company policies safety procedures and state regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
