Job Summary
Responds to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill or injured from the time the person is first seen through transportation and delivery to the care of a physician or emergency room personnel. Provides ambulance transportation for patients to medical facilities. Reports verbally and/or written observations of the care given to patient at the emergency scene and in transit. Maintains equipment and facilities. Performs related work as required.
