Position Details:

Emergency Department RN- Zanesville OH

Location : Zanesville OH 43701

Duration : 13 weeks

Pay-rate :$47-$51/hr

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide high-quality compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced emergency care environment. The RN will assess and triage patients administer medications and treatments collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team and respond effectively to emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and prioritize patient care based on acuity.

Provide direct nursing care to patients with a wide range of emergency conditions.

Administer medications IV therapies and other prescribed treatments.

Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.

Assist with trauma and emergency procedures as needed.

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system.

Educate patients and families regarding treatments medications and discharge instructions.

Follow hospital policies safety standards and infection-control procedures.

Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume ED environment.

Required Qualifications:

Active RN license appropriate to the assignment location.

Minimum of 3 years of current/recent Emergency Department experience and/or completion of at least 3 ED assignments.

Strong emergency/trauma nursing experience.

Epic EMR experience is required.

Current BLS ACLS and PALS certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification.

ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification.

Previous travel nursing experience.

Experience working in a high-acuity or trauma-focused Emergency Department.
