We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team at Carlson Elementary as a 1st Grade Teacher. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes respect inclusion and a love for learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods including tests projects and observations.
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and behavior.
- Collaborate with fellow educators staff and administration to enhance the educational experience and address student needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance grades and other required documentation.
- Facilitate classroom discussions and activities that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and methodologies.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Education.
- Valid teaching certification for elementary education.
- Previous experience teaching at the elementary level is preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment.
- Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance learning.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity within the classroom.
