Elementary Special Education Teacher (Grades 45) Illinois Academic Year
Our organization is excited to partner with an Illinois school district in search of an exceptional Special Education Teacher to serve students in the 4th and 5th grades during the school year. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who believes every student deserves individualized support meaningful learning experiences and the opportunity to reach new milestones.
Youll become an integral part of a collaborative educational community providing specialized instruction that reflects each learners strengths challenges and goals. By working closely with classroom teachers service providers administrators and families youll help implement individualized education programs while creating a classroom culture built on inclusion encouragement and student achievement.
Success in this role comes from building engaging lessons monitoring academic progress adapting instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs and fostering a positive environment where students feel empowered to participate grow and succeed every day.
Requirements
The ideal candidate possesses a bachelors degree or higher in Special Education and holds a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement. We welcome educators who bring excellent communication organization and collaboration skills along with a genuine passion for supporting students with exceptional learning needs. Previous experience in a school-based special education setting is valued and will contribute to success in this role.
