Job Summary

Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our Kindergarten team. The ideal candidate will create a supportive and engaging classroom environment that fosters academic growth social-emotional development and a love of learning. This role involves planning and delivering instruction aligned with curriculum standards assessing student progress and collaborating with colleagues families and staff to support student success.


Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Education or a related field
  • Valid state teaching certification for elementary education (K5)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of child development and instructional best practices
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning tools
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment
  • Prior teaching or student teaching experience in an elementary setting preferred


Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging standards-based lessons across core subject areas
  • Create a positive inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
  • Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams specialists and support staff
  • Coordinate with special education staff and co-teachers as needed to support diverse learners
  • Implement classroom management strategies that promote respect and responsibility
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and school activities
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with district policies and procedures
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality of student family and staff information
  • Work collaboratively with co-workers and school staff
  • Support students social emotional and behavioral growth
  • Uphold school policies procedures and educational standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Administration
