Job Summary

The Chandler School is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of Adjustment Counselor for the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities:

- Consult with administration teachers support staff and families to support the emotional and behavioral needs of all students

- Support students as they build coping skills and develop resilience in order to better manage challenges

- Strengthen the home to school partnerships to bolster student success

- Serve as a resource for families to access community based services

- Collaborate with outside therapists to increase effectiveness of interventions

Requirements:

- Current certification from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education - School Social Worker/School Adjustment Counselor - All Levels

- Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited college or university

- Experience meeting the social-emotional needs of students in grades 3-5

- Citizenship residency or work visa required

Salary based on the currentDuxbury Teachers Contract.

Our school is a Preschool - 2 early childhood school with 665 students and 140 dedicated staff members.
