Job Summary

.5 West Kelloggsville Elementary / .5 Central Kelloggsville Elementary

2026-27 School Year

Summary: Work cooperatively and collaboratively with other professionals in providing math instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Education/Qualifications:
Valid Michigan teaching certification;
Masters Degree in Education with concentration in Math preferred;
Minimum of three (3) years experience in an elementary school or equivalent environment;
Bilingual skills helpful;

Training/Experience/Responsibilities:
Current knowledge of research and effective practices in the area of math development and instruction;

Ability to provide leadership for the schools math program;
Provide and support math assessments and data analysis;
Provide professional development by training coaching and supporting teachers with math programs and instructional practices;
Coordinate math support and serve as a resource for teachers administrators and families;
Excellent interpersonal skills and flexible responsible work style;
High level of planning and organizational skills;
Ability to relate and work effectively with parents staff students and the public in a multicultural and multiracial community;
Knowledge and awareness of own cultural identity and how this influences behavior and desire to learn about the cultural identity of others;
Ability to establish and nurture an environment that promotes cultural competence and equitable treatment of staff students and patrons of the District;
Ability to recognize that each person is a unique individual even as we celebrate their group cultural heritage;
