ELEMENTARY LBS 1 ENDORSEMENT REQUIRED
Additional Skills Required: Understanding of special education process and procedures related to case management and IEP development; Knowledge of Illinois Learning Standards and evidence-based instructional practices to support the planning implementing and evaluating specially designed instruction in literacy mathematics and social-emotional learning; Effective behavioral support strategies to support implementation of behavioral interventions; Ability to collaborate team members with other teachers service providers and building and district leadership; Effective organizational skills and time management; Strong communication skills to convey important information to team members and families
