Electrical Assembler I:
This position is responsible for assembling printed circuit boards cables subassemblies or panels per drawings and work guides/instructions using a variety of tools and equipment in accordance with FES customer qualify and safety requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
- Performs assembly tasks using hand and power tools in a detailed consistent manner as required by production drawings work instructions and/or oral directions
- Reads understands and works from Engineering Drawings Wiring Diagrams and Work Instructions for building electronic assemblies.
- Operates equipment such as X-Ray machine computers lead formers board separator terminal press Scheulinger (wire stripper) aqueous cleaner and soldering irons
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Ability to learn to read drawings
- Ability to learn to solder
- Ability to perform basic mathematics
- Must be a U.S. Person (United States citizen or have permanent resident status in the United States. No sponsorship).
Work Environment:
- Normal electronics manufacturingenvironment
- Expected hours 7:00am - 3:30pm
Essential Physical Functions:
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Occasional lifting (up to 30 pounds).
- Ability to distinguish color
- Ability to see details at close range.
