Job Summary
Job Summary: The Electrical Assembler II is responsible for assembling wiring integrating testing and troubleshooting electrical and electromechanical systems used in large-scale cooling solutions for data center applications. Working with minimal supervision this role interprets electrical schematics wiring diagrams bills of materials and engineering documentation to perform complex electrical assemblies and system integrations. The Electrical Assembler supports product quality manufacturing efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with safety quality and customer requirements. Duties and Responsibilities: Assemble wire route terminate and integrate complex electrical and electromechanical assemblies according to engineering drawings schematics specifications and work and connect control panels sensors switches motors relays terminal blocks power distribution components and other electrical and interpret electrical schematics wiring diagrams bills of materials (BOMs) engineering prints and assembly documentation to independently complete assigned wire routing termination crimping labeling and cable management in accordance with workmanship and quality electrical continuity checks functional testing and verification activities to ensure assemblies meet engineering and quality electrical assembly issues identify root causes and perform rework or corrective actions as proper component installation wiring configurations torque requirements and assembly hand tools power tools torque equipment meters barcode scanners and testing equipment safely and accurate production testing quality and material traceability and communicate material tooling process or quality concerns to appropriate in supporting and training less experienced assemblers on assembly techniques wiring standards and workmanship prototype pilot and new product introduction (NPI) builds as in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality safety productivity and a clean organized and safe work environment in accordance with 5S to all company safety quality environmental and security policies and other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum two (2) years of experience in electrical assembly industrial electrical work HVAC controls control panel wiring electrical installation electromechanical assembly or related electrical trades reading and interpreting electrical schematics wiring diagrams assembly drawings bills of materials and engineering documentation knowledge of electrical components including relays contactors switches sensors motors circuit protection devices and control performing wire routing cable management crimping termination and electrical integration activities using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters continuity testers and related diagnostic tools to troubleshoot wiring issues electrical connections and assembly-related defects with minimal computer skills and ability to work within manufacturing systems and to read write and follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail and to perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers fractions and to stand walk bend and perform repetitive tasks for up to 1012 hours with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation; mechanical lifting devices and team lifts may be utilized as needed.
