Job Summary

Electronic Mechanical Specialist is responsible for the set-up configuration testing and troubleshooting of custom lab test environments for the proprietary CTDI testing equipment at our operations facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Configure test and troubleshoot electronic equipment and PCs.
  • Set-up configure test and trouble shoot custom lab test environments.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software connectivity issues.
  • Qualify and run tests on various communications equipment.
  • Ability to travel as required to assist other branches to set up equipment (20%).

Essential Skills and Experience

  • IPC 610 certification or A Certification is preferred
  • Ability to understand a DOS and LINUX Shell Scripts
  • 2 years of experience in electronics or computer engineering field
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and diagrams
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to operate a PC running Microsoft and Linux OSs as well as execute CLI commands
  • Basic understanding of Virtual Machines
  • Good manual dexterity

Education

  • Associates degree in Electronics or equivalent field
