Job Summary

Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Plastics Manufacturing)

Picture the start of your shift at 3:50pm: you review the maintenance queue troubleshoot a PLC alarm on a production line swap a worn electrical component and help an operator get a mechanical system back online. By the time you clock out at midnight you have improved uptime documented your work and planned the next control system upgrade. Compensation and incentives
  • Starting pay rate of $30.00-$36.50
  • $1.00 shift differential
  • Eligible for annual and skill-based wage increases
  • Eligible for monthly bonus based upon plant productivity*

What you will do

Keep production moving by maintaining and repairing plant equipment and facility systems across mechanical electrical and electronic disciplines. You will:

  • Install set up maintain and repair equipment tied to plant operations services and facilities
  • Diagnose repair and replace electrical components as needed
  • Assist with upgrades to process control equipment as new technology emerges
  • Stay current on state-of-the-art control systems and apply that knowledge on the floor
  • Support shift Operators by performing mechanical repairs when required
What you bring
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics pneumatics mechanical systems and electrical troubleshooting
  • Analytical mindset with solid technical skills including electrical and PLC programming
  • Team-oriented with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
  • 3 years of technician experience in the plastics industry
  • Mechanical aptitude and demonstrated problem-solving ability
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
