Electrician Specialist

The State College Area School District is looking for an Electrician Specialist to provide students staff and visitors with a safe attractive comfortable clean and efficient educational environment. Requires aminimum of five (5) years of experience in repair of electrical systems and equipment or an equivalent combination of education and is a full-time position working 40 hours per week paid hourly and potential for overtime.

Starting at $25.40/hour. Retirement Medical Dental and Vision benefits included.

Theidealcandidate should have the following skills:

• Demonstratedknowledge ofelectrical systems power generation heating and air conditioning systems blueprints including inspecting troubleshooting maintaining repairing and replacing commercial equipment and systems.
• Ability to enter and retrieve information from a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and in writing with a wide variety of individuals and groups.
• Ability to work without direct supervision following the National Electrical Code as well as state and local building regulations.
• Possess or have ability to earn EPA 608 universal technicians certification within 180 days.
