Electrician
As an Electrician you will support production by maintaining troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment including but not limited to robots CNC lathes mills conveyors induction heating systems and forging presses.
- Analyze diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and control system issues using PLC troubleshooting techniques and effective repair methods.
- Interpret electrical drawings schematics equipment specifications and technical documentation to complete repairs and installations.
- Conduct preventive predictive and routine maintenance inspections to minimize equipment downtime.
- Safely operate and utilize electrical tools and testing equipment including hand tools conduit benders megger insulation testers and voltage/amperage measuring devices.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment while following established procedures and company standards.
- Comply with all applicable federal state and local regulations as well as all MIOSHA and Dauch safety policies and procedures.
Compensation:
The starting wage for this position is $38.23 per hour plus a shift premium for off-shift assignments:
- 2nd Shift: $0.75 per hour
- 3rd Shift: $0.75 per hour
Required Skills and Education
- Experience with relay logic motors motor starters and control circuits for AC & DC Motors.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team or independently with little supervision.
- Shift flexibility is essential. Preferred
Preferred:
- PLC experience with Mitsubishi Allen Bradley and GE Fanuc
- Journeymans Card (Electrician)
