Electrician Journeyman

OverviewThe Electrical Journeyman installs maintains tests troubleshoots and repairs electrical equipment machinery and associated electrical and electronic controls. ResponsibilitiesUnderstands internal customer needs and takes action to meet all work in a safe efficient manner correcting and reporting safety issues. Must be able to demonstrate competence in basic computer the daily schedule and performance targets and takes action to meet the highest level of Electrical and Instrumentation standards are being and diagnoses plant maintenance PLC systems and networking. Also maintains and installs analog and digital equipment and assists in the design of HMI for accomplishing equipment inspections as areas are clean and free of clutter and that all safety rules regulations and precautions are being any of the duties Maintenance as needed and other task as assigned. Must act in accordance with WE CARE and participates in improvement actions as needed to satisfy company goals processes and procedures and to uphold values inherent to further training and proficiency in other job functions on the processing for on-call duty and other duties as :Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical Technology preferred. 2-3 years experience. Must meet written and hands on assessment & Abilities:Must be fully proficient to diagnose and make repairs to electrical motor controls install PLC systems and networking maintains and installs analog and digital equipment and assists in the design of HMI be able to read electrical be knowledgeable of the appropriate electrical code and of pertinent city or state inspection and safety be able to function in the required role while wearing appropriate PPE including but not limited to: Safety glasses hearing protection hard hat dust mask protective coveralls and other as may be required by a hot/cold dusty loud industrial be able to stand for the duration of the be able to lift 50 pounds reaching twisting stooping walking and climbing stairways and ladders be able to work at heights of 100 feet or greater.
