Position: Electrical/Computer Patent Prosecution Associate
Status: Full time 40 hours a week
Hours: Hybrid based on 9 to 5 hours
Salary Range: $235.000 To $310000 depending on qualifications and experience

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- The primary focus of this position is patent preparation and prosecution in the electrical/computer fields of technology with the opportunity to work on a wide variety of intellectual property matters including post-grant proceedings litigation opinions and counseling.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or Computer Science and have two to four years of patent preparation and prosecution academic credentials strong analytical abilities excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work well on a team are required.
- Registration to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- This position is generally performed in a professional office setting; 70% sitting 20% standing and 10% walking
- This position routinely utilizes standard office equipment such as laptops computers phones photocopiers and filing cabinets in a home office as well as an in-person office environment.
- Ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds.
