- Assist with preventive and predictive maintenance activities on electrical instrumentation and control systems.
- Support troubleshooting repair and calibration of motors sensors transmitters flow meters level controls temperature devices analyzers and related equipment.
- Perform inspections testing and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems while following established procedures and safety practices.
- Assist with PLCs HMI interfaces motor controls control panel wiring and automated process control systems.
- Monitor and maintain process control systems to ensure accuracy reliability and consistent production performance.
- Support root cause analysis corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability uptime and operational efficiency.
- Maintain calibration records maintenance documentation schematics and control system drawings in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Ensure compliance with GMP HACCP BRCGS OSHA Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Process Safety Management (PSM) and other applicable safety and quality standards.
- Respond to equipment and system failures to minimize downtime and support 24/7 production operations.
- Collaborate with Maintenance Engineering Operations and Quality teams to improve system performance reliability and food safety outcomes.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Associate degree in Industrial Controls & Instrumentation Electrical Construction & Maintenance or a related technical field.
- Minimum State of Maine Electrical Helper License required.
- Apprentice Electrician License or Journeyman-in-Training Electrician License preferred.
- Two years of experience in an industrial manufacturing maintenance or construction-related electrical environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems instrumentation process controls and automation equipment.
- Familiarity with PLCs HMI systems motor controls sensors and control devices preferred.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices including OSHA regulations Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) confined space procedures and hazard communication requirements.
- Ability to read technical documents schematics and electrical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting problem-solving communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules participate in on-call rotations and support production needs as required.

Compensation Package: Starting at $28.38 - 39.59USD hourly dependent upon experience and State of Maine Licensing
