Position Overview

R.J. Kielty is seeking a dependable and experienced Electrical Installer to join our New Construction Electrical Division. This position is responsible for installing residential electrical systems according to approved plans NEC requirements local codes and company quality standards.

The ideal candidate is hardworking safety-focused and able to work efficiently as part of a new construction electrical team.

What Youll Do

• Install electrical systems in new residential construction
• Complete rough-ins trims and final electrical installations
• Install wiring electrical panels breakers switches receptacles lighting fixtures and other electrical components
• Read and follow electrical plans specifications and job instructions
• Ensure all work meets NEC requirements local codes and company quality standards
• Identify and report jobsite issues to the Lead Electrical Supervisor
• Coordinate with supervisors builders inspectors and other trades
• Maintain tools materials equipment and assigned work areas
• Keep jobsites clean organized and safe
• Complete assigned work accurately and within scheduled timelines
• Represent R.J. Kielty professionally on every jobsite

Requirements

• Previous new construction electrical experience preferred
• Working knowledge of residential electrical systems and installation practices
• Ability to read electrical plans and construction documents
• Familiarity with NEC requirements and local electrical codes
• Ability to safely use hand tools power tools ladders and electrical testing equipment
• Reliable hardworking and team-oriented
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Valid Florida drivers license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Clean and professional appearance
• Ability to perform the physical duties required for residential construction work
