Electrical Hydraulic Technician

Summary: Troubleshoots repairs builds and installs electrical hydraulic electronic and mechanical systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Electrical Hydraulic Technician is to safely and efficiently perform top-quality operational duties on a daily basis which include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Trouble shoots repairs builds and installs electrical/electronic hydraulic pneumatic mechanical systems
• Works from manuals schematics and blue prints
• Assembles programs and installs PLC systems
• Performs other work related duties and tasks as assigned by Maintenance Superintendent Assistant Supervisor or Group Leader.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Qualifications: Trained in use and operation of switchgear troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical training from the military vocational/technical school or college. Five years experience as a technician in an industrial maintenance department.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend sufficient English to follow work instructions and blueprints. Must be able to communicate well verbally with others.

Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills associated with the position.

Reasoning Ability: Strong reasoning ability to troubleshoot machines. Must work well with little supervision.

Certificates Licenses Registrations: Must be able to achieve and retain a forklift license.
