Position Summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrician Helper for a local service role in Dyersburg TN. This position supports Journeyman Electricians foremen and project leadership on commercial and industrial electrical work. The successful candidate will be dependable safety-minded eager to learn and ready to grow a long-term career in the electrical trade.

This is a local position based in Dyersburg TN. Candidates should live within a reasonable commuting distance of Dyersburg and be available to work on local projects.

What You Will Do

Work under the supervision and direction of Journeyman Electricians foremen and other field leadership.

Assist with assigned electrical construction and service tasks within your assessed skill level.

Support the installation routing and bending of Rigid and EMT conduit.

Maintain a clean organized and safe work area while following all company and jobsite safety requirements.

Build skills through hands-on experience and the opportunity to enroll in Amtecks accredited apprenticeship program.

Develop additional skills in areas such as low voltage controls process work and fire alarm.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial job sites.

Experience running and bending Rigid and EMT conduit.

Experience working alongside a Journeyman Electrician.

OSHA 10 certification is preferred but not required.

Ability to follow directions work safely and contribute as part of a team.

Reliable transportation and the ability to commute locally to Charleston-area projects.
