What youll do

TheElectricalEngineeris responsible forallelectricaldesign and installationrelated to the Scout factory in South Carolina. TheElectrical Engineerwill report to theDirectorPlant Construction.

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

• Manageand contractually administratemultipleelectricalprojectswith full responsibility for developing the schedule costand changemanagementsafetycommunications procurementriskmanagementand quality of themultiplemechanicalprojects
• Serve as the lead project coordinator on allelectricalinstallationsformain buildings(Press-Shop Body-Shop Paint-Shop Assembly-Shop Central Building etc.)auxiliary buildings (guard house tank farm fire station recycling center truck control center utility building substation etc.) and theconnectionbetween facilities.
• Facilitate resolutionsto complex construction projectsrelated issuesdisputesand disagreementsforelectricalscope to be built by the government including tracking of incentives andmaintaininggovernmental relations
• Maintain product and company reputation bycomplying withfederal andstateregulations
• Createreviewand analyze regularly reports on project construction budgetscheduleand quality performance toidentifythe best course of action throughout the project plan
• Develop andmaintaingood working relationships with other and equipment planning IT HR (social facilities) production as well as governmental institutions and their contractors and all construction firms
• Cross-functionally partnerand collaborate with stakeholders

Location & Travel Expectations:

• This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location inColumbia South Carolina.
• This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office with regular in-person meetings and events.
• Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the companyfrom time to time.

• 5 years of professional experience inplant construction / factory planning
• Bachelorsdegreeinelectricalengineering buildingengineeringor related is a equivalent amount of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Knowledge ofmechanicalengineeringis a plus
• Contribute extensive knowledge ofelectricalinstallationsdesign and construction codes and standards for industrial constructionincluding thereview of building specifications and details
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidates skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial Base Salary Range: $100000.00 - $125000.00
