We currently have an opportunity for a Electrical Engineer at our Manufacturing Facility in Richmond VA.

The Electrical Engineer provides technical leadership for capital projects and electrical engineering initiatives that improve manufacturing operations equipment reliability safety quality and productivity. This role partners with Operations Maintenance Engineering and cross-functional teams to develop and implement electrical solutions that support business objectives while ensuring projects are delivered safely on time and within budget. The position exercises independent judgment in project execution equipment design and continuous improvement initiatives while driving operational excellence across the manufacturing facility.

Capital Project Management

• Lead electrical capital projects from concept through startup ensuring scope schedule budget and performance objectives are achieved.
• Develop project scopes cost estimates business justifications and capital funding requests that support strategic manufacturing initiatives.
• Monitor project execution spending and timelines while proactively managing risks to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate contractors vendors and internal stakeholders to achieve project milestones safely and efficiently.

Electrical Engineering & Manufacturing Support

• Design specify modify and improve electrical systems and manufacturing equipment to enhance safety quality productivity and reliability.
• Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting complex electrical and controls issues that impact manufacturing performance.
• Evaluate existing equipment and recommend engineering solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Support equipment startups commissioning activities and validation to ensure successful implementation.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement process improvements that optimize manufacturing performance reduce costs and increase equipment effectiveness.
• Partner with Operations and Maintenance to prioritize engineering initiatives aligned with plant objectives and capital plans.
• Apply structured problem-solving techniques to identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Support standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

Safety & Compliance

• Promote a strong safety culture by incorporating safe engineering practices into all project planning and execution activities.
• Ensure electrical engineering projects comply with applicable safety environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Support plant initiatives that strengthen operational compliance and risk reduction.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Build effective partnerships with Operations Maintenance Quality and Engineering teams to achieve business objectives.
• Communicate project status risks timelines and results to stakeholders while ensuring alignment throughout project execution.
• Provide technical guidance during project planning implementation and post-startup support.
