Job Summary

Growing engineering firm is looking for a talented Electrical Engineer for their Duluth Minnesota office!



Responsibilities:

  • Design electrical systems for commercial educational healthcare industrial and public-sector building projects
  • Develop construction documents (including plans specifications calculations and reports)
  • Perform power distribution lighting fire alarm and low-voltage system design
  • Coordinate designs with architects contractors owners and other engineering disciplines
  • Conduct site visits field investigations and construction observations
  • Deliver projects on schedule and within budget
  • Apply applicable codes and standards to ensure safe reliable and compliant designs
  • Assist with project proposals client meetings and technical presentations
  • Mentor/train junior staff
  • Manage multiple projects/priorities in a collaborative environment


Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • PE License in Minnesota and ability to obtain licensure in North Dakota within six months
  • 5 years of experience designing electrical building systems (adjust years as appropriate)
  • Experience with commercial institutional industrial or municipal building projects
  • Proficient with design software such as Revit AutoCAD SKM ETAP or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of NEC NFPA IBC IEEE and other applicable codes and standards


Salary is commensurate with experience.
