What You Will Do:

• You will support products at all phases of the product lifecycle (design & development transition to production factory support service support).

• You will support circuit board designs involving complex microprocessor and FPGA architectures including schematic capture part selection simulation and troubleshooting activities.

• You will obsolescence resolution activities.

• You will implement/support designs that are optimized for a balance of cost manufacturability and testability.

• You will implement/support designs that are in strict compliance with DO-160 and DO-254 standards.

What You Will Learn:

• You will learn from experienced engineers and have access to Collins Aerospace Communities of Practice and network of Fellows/Subject Matter Experts.

• You will gain experience in all aspects of the hardware development lifecycle.

• You will gain experience with complex hardware designs and avionics systems.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Must be pursuing Bachelors or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.

• Experience in a lab environment performing hands on troubleshooting with engineering test equipment.

• Experience with schematic capture of digital/analog mixed-signal circuit designs.

• Experience with computer hardware architecture components and design characteristics.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.
