Konik is partnering with a well-respected commercial construction firm seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to support diverse building this role you will create review and maintain electrical designs for commercial industrial healthcare retail and mixed-use projects. This position involves collaboration with project managers estimators engineers and other design professionals to deliver code-compliant constructible and high-quality designs.

Electrical Designer Responsibilities:

• Develop and revise electrical systems and construction drawings using AutoCAD Revit MEP and other design tools.
• Perform electrical calculations including load analysis voltage drop short circuit and lighting photometrics.
• Collaborate with estimators project managers engineers and team members to align electrical design with project requirements.
• Review submittals ensure compliance with NEC and local codes and research regulatory standards.
• Participate in client meetings to present design concepts and clarify project requirements.
• Conduct clash detection and design coordination for constructability and system integration.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.

Electrical Designer Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelors degree in Electrical Design Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical design experience including power distribution lighting and low-voltage systems.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam AutoCAD Revit MEP and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics wiring and system design methodologies.
• Experience designing fire alarm systems preferred.
• Excellent analytical communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively manage priorities and meet deadlines.
