As anElectrical Engineerat Alliance Laundry Systems you willplan programs designand development of electrical electronic and electro-mechanical sub-systems and componentsfor our premium quality laundry products and services.You willwork as part of a multi-disciplinarySustaining Engineering team that is alignedcloselywith an internal customer group.
Responsibilities
Design develop and test electrical electronic and electro-mechanical sub-systems and components to meet project needs
Write detailed design specifications develop testplansand test specifications for evaluating electrical components and sub-systems (i.e.motors transformers contactors drives relays switches heaters and sensors)
Set-up and describe test specifications for electrical and electronic controls
Work with suppliers and in-housecolleagueson development of sub-systems and components
Understand and design the sub-systems and components to marketing specifications and regulatory agencies with full system design in mind
Support production as needed work on QIs and CIs and problem solving
Qualifications
Educationand Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
0-2years of Electrical Engineering experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
Motor drive experienceispreferred
Skills and Abilities:
Able to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems collect dataestablishfacts and draw valid conclusions
Knowledge of engineering design software and equipment
Able towritetechnical reports and complete documentationwithin requiredtimeframes
Demonstrate the ability to function calmly in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Detail-orientedwhile still being connected to the larger project goals/outcomes
Solidcommunicationand organizational skills
Self-motivatedwith a willingness to be hands-on
