Location: Columbus OH. This is an on-site opportunity offering close collaboration with our engineering and architectural teams. We welcome qualified candidates interested in relocating to the Columbus area.

Note: Candidates must have 4 years of electrical engineering or design experience knowledge of commercial building electrical systems and lighting design and proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit. An Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.

Job Description

• Design electrical distribution power and lighting systems for commercial building projects.
• Prepare electrical drawings technical specifications cost estimates and construction documentation.
• Develop and coordinate electrical designs using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Collaborate with architects engineers project managers and clients to deliver integrated building solutions.
• Apply applicable Ohio building and electrical codes to ensure safe compliant designs.
• Support electrical engineering project coordination design reviews and technical problem-solving.
• Help deliver projects from initial design through construction documentation while maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications

• 4 years of electrical engineering or electrical design experience.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and lighting design for commercial buildings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and Microsoft Office.
• Experience preparing electrical drawings specifications and cost estimates.
• Familiarity with Ohio electrical codes and building design requirements.
• Consulting engineering or MEP design experience is highly desirable.
• Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred not required.
• Strong communication organization and problem-solving skills.
