Electrical Design and Test Engiuneer

• Support electrical buildup and test operations including wiring power distribution controls integration and required documentation.

• Design and oversee installation of lowvoltage power distribution systems for test facilities and equipment.

• Program PLCs or NI hardware specify sensors and develop calibration curves for instrumentation and control systems.

• Specify select and initiate procurement of electrical and control system hardware.

• Review track and report engineering deliverables to support project status visibility.

• Resolve corrective actions related to electrical or control system issues as they arise.

• Develop and maintain operating procedures for electrical and control systems.

• Perform additional duties in support of facility operations maintenance and test readiness.

Baseline Requirements (multiple levels posted):

• Bachelors degree in Engineering.

• 25 years of experience in electrical engineering test engineering or a related discipline.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.

• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

• Proficiency with computers and control system interfaces.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• BS in Electrical Electronics or Power Engineering from an accredited institution.

• Familiarity with Aerospace / Spacecraft / DODorganizations processes and procedures.

• Experience with sensor and instrumentation installation.

• Knowledge of AllenBradley PLCs and associated programming software.
