Konik is partnering with a growing engineering firm seeking an Electrical BIM Engineer to support complex electrical design and construction projects. This role focuses on creating and managing 3D electrical models collaborating with production and design teams and ensuring accurate coordinated BIM deliverables for construction site projects. This position is ideal for engineers with hands-on electrical design experience who enjoy bridging design and construction coordination.

Electrical BIM Engineer Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for panels electrical conduits cable trays and instruments in support of construction projects.
• Create and manage family files for electrical components as needed.
• Review project specifications master project lists and related documentation to ensure model compliance.
• Conduct clash detection and coordinate resolutions with design production and construction teams.
• Update and manage model data including attributes material take-offs and shop drawing preparation.
• Collaborate with engineers designers and subcontractors to integrate BIM data across disciplines.
• Ensure adherence to BIM standards modeling guidelines and electrical codes throughout the project lifecycle.

Electrical BIM Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Controls Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings including single-line schematic panel and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency in CAD/BIM software such as Revit AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems controls and standards (NEC UL NEMA).
• Effective communication and coordination skills for working with customers design teams and subcontractors.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize effectively and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
