Job Description:

Job Summary
Independently or under the direct supervision of a physician performs electrocardiogram procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care following policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum electrocardiographic data while keeping patient welfare confidentiality and comfort a top priority. EKG Technician II is responsible for the operation of electrocardiographic equipment including the electrocardiograph 24/48 hour holter monitors PowerChart Cardiovascular and stress electrocardiographic equipment.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• Preferred: EKG or related healthcare experience

Skills:

• Typing and computer skills
• Good interpersonal communication
