Working for our team you can truly make a EHS Plant Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and promoting all plant level environmental health and safety programs for the Multi-Color Corporation in the facility or facilities under the scope of the specific role. Communicates and reinforces company safety requirements and supports safety behaviorsKnowledge of understanding of and compliance to all controlled documentation that are associated with job and maintain the company safety system (Velocity) for the facilities under its for regulatory assessments and efforts to maintain compliance with local and country environmental health and safety knowledge of safety and sustainability practices to oversee a variety of activities including but not limited to industrial hygiene ergonomics emergency management environmental protection and occupational support in the areas of certifications environmental permitting spill prevention plans pollution prevention waste minimization employee training Tier II Reporting required training for all plant employees to address safety and environmental all necessary records and ensure compliance with reporting the plants compliance with hazardous waste analyze interpret and report safety and sustainability key performance Incident Investigations in a timely manner and determine needs for Action Plans to eliminate with any required reporting processes and communicate/track status and/or updates until risk assessments of work operations with facility personnel which may include inspecting machinery equipment and other working in Corporate-directed plant safety health and environmental in daily improvement activities interacting with employees to collaboratively observe and improve safely abide by and promote established safety policies and procedures identify and follow-up on unsafe in and support site safety committees/ miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by the Leadership facility point-of-contact for inspections and audits by governmental regulatory :Bachelors Degree in EHS or related field desired3-5 years experience in the manufacturing industry desiredStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety programs. OSHA 30 and ISO 9001 Safety Professional (CSP) OR Associate Safety Professional (ASP)Able to manage time efficiently on multiple long and short-term projects simultaneously meeting all related completion to understand and help further enhance current business systems processes and have strong computer (Excel PowerPoint and Word) math reading writing skills and have the ability to tactfully communicate to customers and employees of all levels of the to set objectives work goals and standards and motivate interpersonal collaboration and relationships building skills to effectively work with a diverse group/variety of people and has a positive attitude yet able to be the voice of reason in critical highly ethical and respected by clearly and effectively both orally and in writing. Competencies: Principles of safety industrial hygiene ergonomics environment and workers management principles including the identification evaluation and control/elimination of riskWorking knowledge of common EHS tools including: JSAs behavior-based methods machine safeguarding incident investigation management of change auditing Comfort with LEAN and other continuous improvement tools esp. regarding the ability to conduct root-case problem-solving management and team facilitation skillsEffective communications skills (writing presentation data organization)Safety health and environment regulations and best to exhibit initiative leadership and passion for the development and execution of effective EHS processes and expectationsAbility to work effectively with other departments in the development of EHS coaching and group facilitation skills Other Skills and Abilities: Successful candidate must exhibit all desired MCC Competencies with specific strength in the areas of Communication Analyzer Process Improvement Integrator Customer Advocate and Functional Expert in areas of EH&SPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
