- The Co-op term is from January to December 2027.
- Full time requirement (40 hours per week).
The EHS Co-Op will support the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team through data analysis reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will help monitor key safety metrics support incident prevention efforts and ensure compliance with Johnson & Johnson EHS standards by maintaining Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and related training requirements.
- Collecting cleaning and analyzing EHS data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Developing and maintaining dashboards reports and visualizations to track key EHS metrics such as Good Saves Incident Investigations and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
- Identifying trends and patterns to support proactive safety measures and risk reduction initiatives.
- Collaborating with EHS Operations and Management teams to provide data-driven recommendations and insights.
- Supporting risk assessment and incident prevention projects through data analysis.
- Assisting with EHS audits inspections and compliance activities.
- Reviewing updating and maintaining Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to ensure alignment with Johnson & Johnson EHS standards.
- Ensuring updated JSAs are properly documented within company systems and linked to the appropriate training curriculum.
- Identifying areas that require new JSAs and supporting their creation and implementation.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that promote workplace health safety and environmental compliance.
- Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited university is required.
- Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Electrical Engineering Chemical Engineering Environmental Engineering Natural Sciences Physics or a related technical field.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher which is reflective of all college coursework.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook).
- Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Experience analyzing data and creating dashboards is preferred.
