Educational Technology Supervisor
Additional Information:Educational Technology: teaching and administrative experience preferred to supervise EdTech responsibilities.
JOB TITLE: TECHNICAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR
QUALIFICATIONS: 1 . Advanced training. College degree preferred.
- Five or more years experience in network planning installation and engineering local and wide area networks.
- Two or more years experience in a management or supervisory position.
- Two or more years experience in project management.
- Experience in a K-12 network environment preferred.
- Certification or proven expertise in two or more of the following:
- CNE MCSE 2003 preferred
- SQL (Microsoft & Pervasive)
- MS Share Point
- MCDBA
- H.323 video conferencing
- MS Exchange/NW Groupwise
- CCNA or CCNE
- Network Security
- Web Servers
- Experience with LAN/WAN analysis tools.
- Expertise in word processing databases spreadsheets Visio Studio and Crystal Reports. Ability to plan direct and implement system advances.
- Proficiency in desktop MS Windows operating systems and terminal services.
- Demonstrated ability to work with people as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Must have strong communication collaboration and listening.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to
relate complex concepts to the general public.
- Valid Alabama drivers license and qualified for drivers insurance.
REPORTS TO: Technology Coordinator
JOB GOAL: Support the use of technology for instruction communication and administration system-wide. Identify coordinate and supervise technical services related to the maintenance of computers network (LANs and WAN) and telecommunications systems. Plan and implement system advances.
