Editorial Assistant

BrandStories Inc operates as a remote media organization crafting editorial narratives. This 40h/week remote role exists to support publishing workflows across our distributed newsrooms handling day-to-day manuscript preparation fact-checking and content distribution.

• Reviewing and copyediting incoming drafts for clarity style consistency and factual accuracy.

• Managing editorial calendars and coordinating schedules with freelance contributors.

• Formatting articles and multimedia assets within our content management systems.

• Conducting preliminary research and sourcing reference materials for upcoming features.

• Demonstrated experience in digital publishing journalism or professional writing.

• Strong command of English grammar and editorial style guidelines.

• Familiarity with content management systems and remote collaboration tools.

• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
