Job Summary

Early Intervention Specialist - School-AgeHOURLY PAY: $20.20/hour plus mileage reimbursementPositions start as part-time hours (about 20-25 per week); potential to build up to full-time hours - depending on availability and caseload in certain areasCoverage area: Hesperia Apple Valley Victorville Adelanto and surrounding areasRaising a child with a developmental disability is a journey that takes knowledge love patience and support. You will be part of a team that provides in-home early intervention specialized services for school-age children and youth where they can naturally learn and openings are for School-age range (4 to 21 years old): Our Specialists work in school settings 1-on-1 with children who have been diagnosed with an intellectual or developmental schedule and provide weekly early intervention in school settings for a caseload of children/adolescents with developmental disabilities (Autism downs syndrome etc.).Administer and document all program assessments and updates accurately to meet implement and adapt activities for behavioral language cognitive fine and gross motor sensory self-help and social/emotional development for each individual child utilizing best effective adult-child interactions and provide written information on parenting child development and provide parents with written weekly activities and effective document and share the childs progress with the family and is a great position to start or advance in a therapeutic services career.
