Pay: Starting at $20 per hour (higher pay available based on experience and credentials)
Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday
- Lead daily classroom routines and learning experiences for young preschool-aged children
- Implement The Learning Experiences proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum through hands-on developmentally appropriate activities
- Support childrens language cognitive physical and social-emotional development
- Encourage independence communication and emerging self-help skills
- Use positive guidance to support classroom behavior and successful transitions
- Create a safe organized nurturing and engaging classroom environment
- Observe childrens development and communicate regularly with families
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership
- Follow all Virginia childcare licensing health and safety requirements
- Previous professional childcare daycare or preschool experience required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- CDA preferred but not required
- Experience working with toddlers two-year-olds or young preschoolers strongly preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Patient dependable nurturing and team-oriented
- Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
- Starting at $20 per hour with compensation based on experience and credentials
