Cheder Menachem Preschool is seeking a warm flexible and dedicated Early Childhood Support Teacher to join our growing team for the upcoming school year. This position is ideal for an educator who enjoys variety building relationships across classrooms and making a meaningful difference throughout the school.
We welcome applicants with degrees in Early Childhood Education or related fields as well as experienced childcare professionals who are passionate about nurturing young children.
Were Looking for Someone Who:
- Has a genuine love for infants toddlers and preschool-aged children.
- Brings warmth patience professionalism and enthusiasm to every classroom.
- Is flexible adaptable and enjoys working with children of different ages.
- Holds (or is pursuing) a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
- Has experience in childcare preschool or early childhood education.
- Understands child development and developmentally appropriate practice.
- Works collaboratively with teachers and communicates effectively with families.
- Is dependable organized and able to confidently step into a variety of classroom settings.
Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting classrooms throughout the preschool as needed.
- Covering teacher planning time breaks meetings and staff absences.
- Assisting in infant toddler nursery and Pre-K classrooms.
- Leading small-group activities story time music art sensory exploration and outdoor learning.
- Supporting childrens social emotional cognitive language and physical development.
- Helping maintain safe organized and engaging classroom environments.
- Assisting with arrival dismissal meals playground supervision and daily transitions.
- Collaborating with teachers to ensure continuity of care and learning throughout the school.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Reggio Emilia-inspired education.
- Familiarity with Creative Curriculum and/or Teaching Strategies Gold.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children families and colleagues.
