E-Commerce Image Specialist

PURPOSE OF JOB:

Assist in producing product content images by ensuring accurate color consistent quality and adherence to visual standards across the Fat Quarter Shop website.

JOB DUTIES:

• Scan fabrics create and color-correct images
• Verify collection information and SKUs match manufacturer descriptions
• Work collaboratively with content team to create and organize product content
• Ensure accuracy of products loaded to the website
• Works with Image Team Lead to assess current workload and prioritize collections regularly modifying action items in the project management system ().
• Assist in training/cross training image specialists in processes quality standards and department metrics.
• Assist with various projects and website issues
• Promote and adhere to the FQS Core Values.
• Other responsibilities as assigned to work towards the greater good.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• College degree is preferred.
• Proficient with computer programs including experience with Adobe Photoshop
• Basic Photography skills are preferred.
• Previous marketing or technical experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug test.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

• Precise attention to detail and excellent proofreader.
• Advanced understanding of color theory.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
• Must be able to take projects from inception to completion in a very short time.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills.
• Must be highly organized and be able to consistently meet deadlines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Regularly required to sit or stand bend and reach.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Requires looking at a computer screen for periods of time up to and exceeding 120 minutes.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:

• The use of Personal Protective Equipment is required per the Safety Manual.
