Stoneridge is looking for a strategic consultative Principal Project Manager to join our Project Management Office. As a Principal Project Manager at Stoneridge youll lead complex Dynamics 365 projects while partnering closely with clients as a trusted advisor. Youll go beyond traditional project managementhelping clients navigate tradeoffs manage risk and achieve real business outcomes. This role blends delivery excellence with consultative leadership offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while building longterm client relationships. Youll work directly with enterprise and corporate level clients and youll partner with Solution Architects Technical Architects and Account teams to help our clients win.

A Day in the Life

Successfully leads and manages large and/or complex Dynamics 365 projects including multiworkload implementationsincluding integrations ISVs and AI requirements with a strong focus on client outcomes and value realization

Acts as a trusted advisor and thought partner to client leadership guiding strategic decisions and helping clients navigatetradeoffsrelated to scope timeline cost and risk

Provides daytoday and strategic leadership over project teams balancing execution with proactive risk identification and outcome protection rather than task completion alonepartnering with key Stoneridge internal resources to overcome risks and issues

Leads project planning monitoring and reporting with an emphasis onanticipatingrisk surfacing options and framing decisions in terms of impact andtradeoffs

Builds andmaintainsstrong trustbased relationships with client PMsandsenior stakeholders; independently leads strategic conversations with directorlevel and executive client audiences

Proactivelyidentifiesrisks dependencies and delivery challenges before they materialize and brings forward recommended mitigation strategies and alternative paths

Challenges scope sequencing and delivery approach when necessary to protect business outcomes and delivery quality while clearly articulating implications to clients

Adjusts communication style and level of detail based on audience and intent ensuring stakeholders receive context insight and guidance-not just status updates

Anticipates organizational change impacts and helps prepare client stakeholders for adoption and transition not just system delivery

Uses escalation strategically and early to protect outcomes align expectations and remove blockers

Identifiesopportunities to improve client outcomes beyond the original plan including delivery optimizations sequencing changes or process improvements

Organizes andfacilitatessteering committees and governance forums that focus on decisionmaking alignment and risk management not just reporting

Maintains ownership of project financials forecasts and delivery health in Stoneridge tools proactively communicating risks and variances with context and recommendations

Manages issues and escalations with empathy professionalism and strong interpersonal judgment

Mentors and coaches junior PMs and coordinators modeling consultative behaviors strategic thinking and client partnership

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Computer Science or related fieldor equivalent work experience

8 years actively managing projects in a project manager roleincluding allend-to-end project lifecycle execution and hands-on experience deliveringprojects through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Has managed3previousfull lifecycle Dynamics365Implementationsincluding at least 1 ERP project

Previousconsulting experience

Direct experience and ability to develop detailed project plans scope documents/backlogs project schedules with dependencies and resource forecasts and plans

Ability to successfully manage budgets and timelines proactivelyidentifyingissues with the ability to effectively communicate solutions to budget and timeline issues with clients

Formal PM training/certificationstronglypreferred (PMP CAPM CSM etc.)

Formal Microsoft training/certifications preferred

Great leadership communication teamwork skills with proven ability to collaborate in group problem-solving situations

Organized detail-oriented and follows through on commitments

Deepunderstanding of project management principles and methodologies (Agile Waterfall)

Strongability to quickly graspcomplex and/or technical itemsand break them down into workable segments

Solid interpersonal skills and ability toestablishand maintain effective working relationships within and outside Stoneridge

Ability to work primarily independently and concurrently manage multiple projects and/or multiple workstreams across a large complex project

Ability to work collaboratively for the best interests of the business and the team

Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English

Work Location: This position is available remotely in the United States or remotely in the following Canadian Provinces: Alberta British Columbia Manitoba and Ontario.

Travel Required: Incumbent is expected to travel across the United States and Canada for industry events and as needed for onsite client project delivery or inperson collaboration at company office locations in Fargo ND and Minneapolis MN. Travel is expected to be up to 25-50% of the role.

Compensation

Our philosophy is to provide compensation that isCompetitiveEquitable andDriven by Performance. Various factors impact our pay ranges including market conditions and national salary data. To determine competitive salaries within this range we consider candidates skills qualifications and experience. These are national ranges inclusive of bonus opportunities and could represent multiple role levels.
